Sudarsanam Day Care Centre, nestled near Nellikkave Temple in Manakadu, stands as a beacon of hope and empowerment for children with autism and cerebral palsy. Beyond addressing daily needs, our center imparts invaluable skills such as vegetable farming and soap making, aiming to make these young minds self-reliant contributors to society.

Operated by specially trained educators and assistants, Sudarsanam Day Care Centre provides not just care but also a comprehensive educational environment. Transportation is arranged to ensure accessibility, and the curriculum is tailored to meet the unique needs of each child.

The age limit for admission of differentially abled children to special schools is 18. To give special training to them so as to keep them in the main stream of the society , the trust started Sudarsanam day care center.The center provides care and skill training to children going through the states of Autism ,Cerebral palsy ,and Retardation ..Beyond addressing their daily needs the center imparts employable skills such as Vegetable farming ,Soap making ,aiming to make these students self reliant.  The center employs a specially trained teacher and an assistant ,and with transportation arranged for the children.

Kaval  Project.

The  Kavalproject, supervised by the Women and Child Welfare Department of the State government , addresses the needs of the children in conflict with the law.Through individual Follow up ,PshycoSocial Intervention  ,Counselling ,Life Skill Education and Parent Management and related sessions the programme aims to reintegrate these children into mainstream of the society , preventing them from becoming law offenders and helping them lead difnified lives .The district child protection unit oversees the scheme’s implementation which involves volunteer agencies and institutes .

In Idukki district two agencies including the Deena daya Seva Trust , volunteer for the Kaval project , benefitting 90 children since its launch on January 1st 2019.The trust employs a coordinator and a social worker with MSW degree to execute the sheme.
