The trust stepped into this area of human service in the
year 2013 among 30 nos of patients with minimum services of BP ,SUGAR monitoring etc,,
Now at the end of a decade this service caters its services to 1036 patients and their families
with all possible nursing assistances such as ,
a.Cathetarisation
b.Ryles tube insertion
c.wound dressing
d.body baths, etc;
This initiative currently assisting over 100 patients per month with regular monthly visits and
daily visits on acute emergencies .
Provisions include,
1. wheel chairs ,
2. oxygen cylinders
3. Oxygen concentrator
4. hospital coats
5. Airbed
6. Commod
7. medicines
8. diapers
9. wound dressing materials
10. and prescribed diet requirements
are undertaken by this service unit.
The Services are overseen by experienced qualified specially trained for Palliative care assisted by
volunteers from the trust and from outside society and equipped with vehicle for home visits .
Beyond the established nursing procedures for the patients
Going deep into the mental agonies of the familyand proceedings to heal the sufferings through
marriage assistance to the girl children and education assistance to the children makes the team
unique.
1st Five years…..
1.A Center for loving care for Senior Citizens…
Project for accommodating 100 persons , including purchase of One acre land and construction of building and arranging the facilities for a total of Five crores is already finalised.
2.Rehabilitation Center for Girls left without shelter.
3.Extending Home care Palliative service to nearby Panchayaths forming a second unit.
Succeeding five years…
1.A nursing home to accomodate bedridden palliative patientspatients extending services of medical experts from Modern medicine and Aush schemes.
2. Adopting a backward, remote village and upgrading it to a model village with all facilities.
